Cheng Yuanfeng (1200-1269) was born in Huizhou (now Shexian County, Anhui Province), also known as Ruifu and Shenfu. Shaoding Jinshi. During Chunyou's reign, he became a doctor of Taixue. During the reign of Emperor Lizong, he was promoted to secretary-general, and moved to post-writing position, where he worshiped and supervised the imperial officials. In the third year of Baoyou's reign (1255), he served as a Privy Council member and had the power to participate in political affairs. The following year, he became the Prime Minister and the Secret Envoy of the Privy Council, and reported on eight things, including uprightness of mind, promotion of talents, love for the people, and preparation of borders. He used Ding Daquan as his prime minister and resigned. In the third year of Xianchun (1267), he was appointed Prime Minister of the Right and concurrently as Privy Council envoy, and then became Chen Yizhong. The people employed in the government are fair and selfless. There is a biography in Volume 418 of "History of the Song Dynasty".
