The stone carving of "The Broken Thousand-Character Essay" in cursive script has no inscription and is said to be written by Zhang Xu of the Tang Dynasty. The stone carvings are stored in the Forest of Steles Museum in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, with a total of six stones.
