Gui Changshi (1573-1645) was born in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. A famous calligrapher, painter and seal carver in the late Ming Dynasty. He is a master of poetry and prose. Together with Li Liufang and Wang Zhijian, he is one of the three talents in Kunshan. He is also good at calligraphy and painting. He is a calligrapher in the Jin and Tang Dynasties. He is especially good at cursive calligraphy. It is meant to be between ivy and white sun. This book was written when the author was forty years old, and the writing style is elegant and beautiful.
